  • I agree with what is listed here. I am starting to travel solo locally and I find it easier and I am more relaxed cause I have my own when something unexpected comes. I would to try going to other countries and immerse in their culture maybe by next year I would have enougj courage to try that.

  • I miss traveling alone! It’s definitely NOT lonely and it’s fun to go at your own pace without being limited and hindered by anyone else

  • Fab post, I love your reasons 🙂 Having the freedom to do your own thing would definitely be one of my top reasons for travelling alone.

  • It amazes me how many people are scared to travel solo, whether it to a different country, different location or even out to dinner by themselves! I always find that I end up talking to more people if i’m out on my own as it forces you to communicate with others around you rather than your usual travel companion x

  • It’s definitely such a different experience traveling alone…sometimes scary, but you learn a lot and really do come out stronger.
